¡ Buenos días!
Vamos a por el penúltimo día de la semana.
Esta semana hemos tenido videollamadas y ha sido un placer veros aunque os hemos echado de menos a los que no habéis podido.
Vamos a por ello, hoy toca lengua, inglés y sociales.

LENGUA

Aunque toca lengua como muy bien sabéis empezamos corrigiendo los deberes del día anterior.

Ahora sí comenzamos con lengua aprendiendo mas cosas sobre el verbo. En concreto la concordancia

ENGLISH

We saw how to use present simple. Let me remind you present simple is used for routines. Now that you know how to ask questions, and how to use affirmative and negative forms, you will be able to answer these questions.

                  On Mondays I play the guitar

                  On Tuesdays she studies English.

SOCIAL SCIENCE

We were classifying rocks. It is now turn to work on MINERALS. Minerals have many characteristics. We are going to focus on these four: Colour, lustre, cleavage and fracture and hardness. Pay attention to this video, and as well, you can read pg. 24 in your books ;-)

Pues hoy trabajaremos matemáticas, inglés y naturales.

MATEMÁTICAS

Antes de comenzar matemáticas corregimos los dos ejercicios de ayer de lenguaje.

Seguimos repasando los primeros temas que dimos en matemáticas. Nos quedan estos ejercicios y problemas el viernes. 

ENGLISH

We have seen the Present Simple in its affirmative and negative forms. It's now turn to use the interrogative. Remember we were using the:

auxiliary verb "do/does" + Subject (I, you, he, she....) + main verb + complements.

Example:

                            Do      +              I      + play    + football on Mondays?

                   Does    +          She    + play    + football on Mondays?

                                                          (TIP: We don't add an "s" to the verb)

Pay attention:

¿Cómo ha ido el fin de semana? Esperamos que le hayáis disfrutado. Empezamos una nueva semana. ¡ Vamos a por ella! 
Hoy nos toca matemáticas, inglés y arts.


MATEMÁTICAS
Seguimos haciendo un repaso de algunos aspectos de temas  pasados. No pongo las soluciones del las tareas del viernes pasado, según me vais mandando os corrijo y os voy diciendo.

ENGLISH

We keep on reviewing tenses. We were working on Present Simple. Today we will review the negative form. Remember that the negative form uses the auxiliary verb "do/does" + not + the main verb. The third person singular won't carry an "S", instead will use "does" + not Pay attention to this example:

Verb (to play)

I                  do not        play      in the garden

You             do not       play      in the garden

He/She/It     does not       playS  in the garden

We              do not        play      in the garden

You             do not       play      in the garden

They           do not       play      in the garden



Remember you can contract the auxiliary verbs.

 Example: I don't play in the garden

                 He/She/It doesn't play in the garden

ARTS

We have been working on eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills through Origami. We are going to continue developing these skills through easy-drawing techniques. As well, we will work on spacial perception.

ENGLISH

We commence reviewing the tenses we have been working on this year. Let's start by explaining simple tenses. Simple tenses use the auxiliary verb "to do", in present simple "do/does" in past simpe "did". We are going to focus on the present simple.

Present simple is used for routines that normally happen. Verbs do not change for each pronoun, appart from the third person singular, which we will add an "S" in the end. We are workning on affirmative form today. This is how it works:

Verb (to play)

I                          play      in the garden

You                     play      in the garden

He/She/It            playS  in the garden

We                      play      in the garden

You                     play      in the garden

They                   play      in the garden
