¡Comenzamos el tercer trimestre!
Hoy nos toca MATEMÁTICAS, SOCIAL SCIENCE y NATURAL SCIENCE.
MATEMÁTICAS
LITRO MULTIPLOS Y SUBMULTIPLOS
We have worked on the different water bodies. Let's get deep into RIVERS. Pay attention.1. DEFINE the three courses of a river:
a) Upper course:
b) Middle course:
c) Lower course:
(TIP: You can help yourselves from the book page 46 and 47)
NATURAL SCIENCE
We have seen the difference between mass and volume and, also, the states of matter.
Pay attention to these videos. You will get to know materials, and their properties.
Hardness vs. softness:
Flexibility:
Resistance vs. fragility:
Materials are resistant if they are difficult to break. They are fragile if it is easy to break.
Thermal conduction:
Conductor materials are the ones that let the heat travel fast through them. The opposite is insulator materials. A material is insulator when they do not let the heat travel fast through them.
Tasks:
1. Say two materials for these properties:
example) Hard: diamond, metal.
Soft: Talc, gypsum.
a) HARD:
b) SOFT:
c) FLEXIBLE:
d) RIGID:
e) RESISTANT:
f) FRAGILE:
g) CONDUCTOR:
h) ISOLATOR:
(TIP: you can get help from your books, page 58)
